Heel Trimming & Sole Adhesive Preparation | Women’s Woven Shoe Production

Final Trimming & Adhesive Preparation – Transition to Sole Assembly

After the final nailing stage is completed, the shoe enters a critical transition phase. This stage prepares the base for sole attachment.

Process Breakdown with Key Moments

00:00 – The heel area is inspected after final structural nailing.

00:08 – Excess lining and surplus material under the heel are carefully trimmed using a knife. This removes internal bulk that could affect comfort or alignment.

00:20 – Fine trimming continues to ensure a clean and even base surface.

00:34 – The prepared heel area shows a smooth transition between lining and upper.

00:46 – Adhesive is applied between the leather upper and the sole area. Proper bonding preparation is essential for durability and flexibility.

01:00 – The bonding layer is evenly distributed to ensure long-term structural integrity.

Why This Stage Matters

Removing surplus material prevents internal pressure points. A clean bonding surface ensures proper sole adhesion. Balanced preparation supports flexibility without compromising durability.

This stage marks the transition from lasting to sole assembly — a key structural shift in production.

All processes are completed fully in-house inside our footwear workshop.
